Girl removed from school football team because boys have ‘impure thoughts’

In Georgia, a 12-year-old female football player has been removed from her Christian school’s football team because boys might have “impure thoughts.”

Officials at Strong Rock Christian School worry the female middle school athlete might inspire "lustful thoughts" in the boys on the team, according to a report issued by WSBTV on Thursday, June 20.

12-year-old Maddy Blythe will not be allowed to play football this fall, despite her impressive record as a successful defensive tackle for the Strong Rock Christian School's football team. As a defensive tackle, Blythe had numerous sacks playing for the school’s football team last year, and by all accounts was a strong contributor to the team.

However, according to reports, Strong Rock Christian School CEO Patrick Stuart has reversed school policy that once allowed Maddy to play, using the Bible to justify his decision.

Hoping the school will rethink its decision, Maddy’s mother, Cassy Blythe, has created a “Let Her Play” Facebook page.

After all they think the earth is 6,000 years old and reject all forms of science backing human reproduction.

I came of age in the early 60's....what a repressive era that was.
Everything was always the fault of women, who were apparently responsible for men's anger, men's lust, men's happiness, success, etc.

Thank god for 1970....
an era which apparently has not arrived in all part of this country.

And it was just a "blame the girl" catch-all just like everyone else has been pointing out here.

No one yet (has said they thought this way) is accused of thinking like this. It is the schools way of punishing her for being born a female imo. No...this is future thought crimes! Even more bat shit crazy then normal!

otherwise, why would the matter of "impure thoughts" come up after already being allowed to play for the team?

a 12-year-old using the word "archaic" is awesome in itself.

"I think it's kind of crazy and I think it's very archaic and he needs to get with the times," Blythe said.

When you choose to send your kid to a religious school or enroll them in a religious organization or choose to work or volunteer at one of the above, you agree to play by their rules. Simple solution...don't do it.

If people stopped, these institutions would either die off or would modify their rules to better fit society.

.

.

It is natural for us males to be attracted to females.

If that attraction is what they classify as "impure",

then I'm about as impure as you can get!
