But I'm a Canadian. The reason that I follow your politics is that what happens there, happens here. And yes, I see signs of the whole stupidity of corporate takeover coming here, too. Harper, for example, has abolished public funding of campaigns, which is A Very Bad Idea.
It's absolutely depressing.

By that I mean we are running out of ways to inject individuals that are truly of the people and for the people. The institutions we rely on are all on the verge of being usurped by the corporate elite.
Already happened.
