"WE PRAY! Nelson Mandela Unresponsive (DETAILS)"

http://globalgrind.com/news/nelson-mandela-unresponsive-eyes-closed-days-ambulance-break-down-details

"SNIP.........................

According to CBS, things might be more serious than that since a source revealed to them that the 94-year-old former African leader is unresponsive and hasn't opened his eyes in days.

The site reports:

Sources tell us that Mandela's liver and kidneys are functioning at 50 percent, and he had a procedure to repair a bleeding ulcer and another one to insert a tube.

We're told he hasn't opened his eyes in days and is unresponsive. We also understand that Mandela family members are discussing just how much medical intervention is enough for an old and very sick man.

2. At 94, given his stature in world history, Nelson Mandela has lived an impressive life.

There is no tragedy if he passes on, just powerful remembrance and a enormously large pair of shoes to fill.

4. If he won't be himself if he wakes, maybe he should go peacefully.

At 94, there's a good chance he won't be independent or fully functioning if he were to wake. So maybe he'd prefer to go. Sometimes it's time.

He has lived a really long time! Esp considering all he's been through. Amazing.

6. He did more for the WORLD than is possible to quantify. His life was hard. He accomplished much.

His steadfast adherence to an IDEAL changed life on an entire continent, and by extension, for people the world over.

Would that there were more like him in our future, but I fear we've seen the last of humans who would trade their comfortable lives for ideals.

We as a species have become lazy. Nelson Mandela is one of the last people who had the courage of their convictions, and was willing to trade comfort for the lasting change necessary to make the lives of tens of millions of people better.

Godspeed, Mr. Mandela. A entire continent, nay, the entire WORLD owes you much.
