How do we get any oversight or control over black programs? I do not believe this is "merely metadata" and even if it were, it won't be long before it isn't. After all, the fine folk at darpa dream of having the power to turn off your car while you are driving if the police deem it neccesary.

How much of our freedom are we willing to give away to prevent a terrorist attack? Think about it, you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than a terrorist.

But we need national strikes and multi million person marches...that do not disperse.

4. We are always so proud and supportive (I mean on DU) of citizen uprisings for the right cause. Maybe

it's time the people of the US got their act together and did the same thing. At least it would show the rest of the world we do not think the same as our government. If we do nothing it means there is citizen consent. I wouldn't want any other peoples thinking we condone this. Time to hit the road and make our feelings known. I'm talking thousands and thousands.
