Meet Emmanuel Goldstein

Emmanuel Goldstein is a character in George Orwell's classic dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. He is the number one enemy of the state according to the Party. He is depicted as the head of a mysterious (and possibly fictitious) anti-party organization called "The Brotherhood" and to have written the book The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism. Despite being a key part of the story, he is only actually seen and heard on telescreen, and may in fact be nothing more than a useful propaganda fabrication of the Ministry of Truth.

Does the US really want to capture Edward Snowden? Why haven't we, with all the surveillance capabilities and expertise at our disposal not been able to locate Mr. Snowden? Question everything. What does the US have to gain from this whole affair?

out there to remind us of how we need to spend trillions of dollars on the MIC and the "intelligence community" which is really just a black hole that sucks up money and gives society nothing in return.

had no real interest in capturing Bin Laden. He was too useful as a boogie man. Obama clearly did.

They don't give a fuck about the Proles.

But some in the Outer Party have a conscience, so force them to sign a Security oath, then monitor the shit out of them.

4.5 Million Americans are now have Security Clearance. 1.4 million of those have Top Secret security clearances.

And then there's this:
