They are like Ants

That paranoid 50s Sci-Fi film Them reminds me of the situation we are in.

Instead of commies as the allegory for the colony of ants, we're facing a Beast created from the 1-percent of 1-percent of 1-percent and their vermin among the Have's and Have-More's.

A colony of the 99.99-percent in service of the Queen class. Look at the evisceration of the Voting Rights Act, the latest heapin' helpin' of hostility from the BFEE-beholden SCOTUS faction.

What "They" have done is move to eternalize the Order where the Hierarchy is maintained, the ancient regime where the few at the top can rule the rest of the heap below, like an ant colony:

Servants.
Scouts.
Soldiers.
A few drones and studs.
Queenie.

That is what We the People find ourselves in. We are returning to the days of the Old South, where the colony was ruled by a Queen or King. A situation where:

The vote gets more restricted
The rich get unimaginably richer while the rest get poorer and poorer
Wars never end that profit the very few
The secret government spies on We the People
and democracy keeps dying.

Just like in the movies, it's gonna take a team effort to beat them. Otherwise, there's really no stopping Them.

But, I do like Mr. Henry's idea of a withholding tax on offshore holdings. I wouldn't make it quite so modest.

[font color="blue"][center]I'm always right. When I'm wrong I admit it.
So then I'm right about being wrong.
