I was wrong about the SCOTUS

Before the Voting Rights Act ruling I often said that the court was mad up of four moderates, four lunatics and one moderate lunatic. Now I see it as five lunatics and four moderates.
That ruling was severe blow to democracy. Voter suppression will run rampant in states ran by Republicons not just in the Southern states but in places like Wisconsin and Michigan.

The Supreme Court ruling shouldn't be a problem.

Permit me an analogy.

That's like saying all the world needs to solve global warming is to migrate to another planet that hasn't had their environment destroyed by humanity yet.

I sincerely respect and agree with your point. I just don't think we have the medical capacity to lobotomize so many Republics.

It's funny how a sane congress seems out of the realm of possibility.

It's amazing that our current Congress is composed of a large contingent of treacherous cretins*

What we have now is simply taxation without representation. A majority in our Congress should be impeached for breaking their Oaths to preserve, defend and protect the Constitution. There seems to be a massive "we had to destroy the Constitution to save it" effort by the people we elected to represent us. I'd call it treason, but tonight's Lawrence O'Donnell teaches that treason has a very specific definition in the Constitution and can only be invoked in times of Constitutionally declared war. The last such War that met that condition was WW2.
