I love when Big Church(tm), whether it be the Vatican, LDS, or any large heirarchical religious organization blows a lot of capital on wasted political efforts.

Prop 8 won in California in 2008 because of millions of dollars spent by the bigoted Mormon church.

The fact that all that money went down the rat hole with nothing to show for it pleases me to no end.

Maybe Mitt can refill their coffers by tithing more than 10% for a few years.

3. Actually, Mittwit could start tithing his full 10 percent

some LDSers are miffed at Mitt because he underreported his income to the LDS Church as well as to the IRS. Thus, he tithed 10 percent of his underreported income (thanks to some shenanigans at Bain Capital about reporting income as capital gains), not his real income.
