how many thousands of people go through that airport?

Doesn't somebody want millions of hits on their YouTube channel?

Every damn car in Russia has a dashcam, take your GoPro inside for your trip people! Get a clip of him doing his nails or something

14. Haven't been to the Guardian yet today? Got anything to say about the latest revelations or

are you just intensely fascinated with Greenwald. That sort of 'gives him what he wants' though, doesn't it? I would ignore him if I were you and thought that what he wants is attention. Makes no sense to give it to him!

17. You mean the latest revelations of what

many of us already figured was happening because we have something called common sense?

All this outrage is years too late and probably a couple hundred billion dollars short.

So yeah I'm MUCH more interested in Greenwald.

like most normal people do to make their work more efficient.

2. He's probably in the transit hotel, with room service provided by the FSB.

He's presumably with Sarah Harrison. She is a Brit, so she would need a visa to enter Russia. Unless she secured one in the UK, before leaving for Hong Kong, she can't leave the transit area.

16. However they might have traveled to the Venezuelan Embassy or elsewhere under diplomatic

immunity.

Note that this is never mentioned - this is because they don't want anyone to start examining legal precedent and publishing stories about how Putin lied, Assange lied and how bogus the legal grounding is for Snowden's movement and asylum claim.

19. If that diplomatic fig leaf worked, then Assange could go to Heathrow in a Ecuadoran diplomatic car

So it is questionable whether the Russians would regard a car as not part of Russia.

Maybe he curled up in a large diplomatic pouch... those are not supposed to be subject to inspection.

Putin will let him get away with it

21. Why would Putin let Snowden out of his control in the Ecuadoran Embassy?

Much better to keep him at the airport.

If not at the transit hotel, I'm sure FSB can arrange some accommodation there.

Airports and Hotels are like a Theater. There is the "front of the house" that the public sees. Then there is the "back of the house" where all of the action takes place.

but how awful would that be at one month.

His attorney is in there too, she'll be antsy to leave shortly

24. Sarah Harrison is not an attorney. She's "legal researcher", PR person and assistant to Assange.

Sarah Harrison is a UK citizen, journalist, and legal researcher who is currently working with the WikiLeaks Legal Defense team led by former Spanish Judge Baltasar Garzon.

http://wikileaks.org/Profile-Sarah-Harrison.html

Digital Journal had reported recently that Garzón had released a press statement on the WikiLeaks website, stating that Snowden had requested his legal advice, but saying he would require more information before making any decision in this regard.

However, without giving an explanation, Garzón, who is the law firm's director, stated on Wednesday:

"This serves to state that the law firm ILOCAD has decided not to represent Mr. Snowden, whose whereabouts are unknown."

It will be interesting to see whether Snowden is with Ms. Harrison when she resurfaces.

25. Yes, plus I read that Wikileaks is lining up a US attorney for Snowden

They're going to spend a lot on him since I believe they are footing the bill for his stay now.

31. That's interesting. Why would he need a US attorney?

This might indicate that he is trying to organize his material into some sort of "indictment" of US persons or organizations?

so far that's all there was -- it was related to Balthazar Gurzon's decision not to take the case

18. Well all this attention you all are giving him makes him 'special'. Just ignore him, don't give him

the attention you think he wants and focus on the revelations that actually do have a huge impact on this country. He'll probably die, or disappear, but it won't change a thing about what they are trying so hard and so stupidly to hide.

What is he, a loser?

He can't follow through?

Can't get free wi-fi in the transit area?

Come on Snowden, leak it all or he's just a low level IT admin who got a hold of a Verizon document.

No wonder our President plays him down-

23. Because he's not where they say he is.

In this day of cell phone and surveillance cameras everywhere, You Tube and Face Book should be bursting with videos and photos of Snowden sightings. Yet, the only photo is of his empty chair on the flight to Havana he supposedly missed. Yeah. This is mighty suspicious.

37. I wonder if he actually made it to Moscow.

If he succeeded in ditching the press, and is sipping pina coladas in Ecuador right now, good for him. Especially since he got a whole bunch of slavering "journalists" on a 12 hour flight from Moscow to Havana. A dry flight. No alcohol.
