The small black dog is being called Little Eddie by the Nebraska Humane Society because his underbite makes him look like the 1960s TV character Eddie Munster.

He might also be called lucky. If Kenneth Harrison hadn’t found him Friday morning, he would probably be dead.


Little Eddie, a terrier mix, was found in a bag tossed into a trash can at a carwash Friday. A $1,000 reward is being offered for tips leading to an arrest in the case. The dog is being called Little Eddie by the Nebraska Humane Society because his underbite makes him look like the 1960s TV character Eddie Munster.


Harrison, 30, is a New Yorker visiting family in Omaha. He was getting his truck washed near 72nd and Maple Streets when he went to throw out his trash.

Inside the can there was a black trash bag. That bag moved and whimpered.
