of obtaining consent. They think women are unqualified to give it. One wonders why, for such men, the slippery slope didn't exist for straight marriage in which the female partner was afforded all the rights given to breeding stock.

Why is it when normal, sane people start talking about letting two people in love get married, even if they are of the same gender, do Conservatives immediately start thinking about having sex with animals? Are they trying to tell us something? Do they misunderstand what is meant by animal husbandry?
