If any part of his story is a lie, the whole thing is a lie. Plus we already know that many other parts of his story don't add up, as others here on DU have pointed out.

2. It's an interesting claim. The words imply strongly that Z WAS going after TM! So either TM felt

that way, and Z is telling the truth.....

9. Zimmerman has told so many lies

I still have the tendency to believe there will be a hung jury. According to someone else on DU the vote has to be either 6-0 to convict or 6-0 to acquit.

1. Zimmerman claims that Martin was straddling him. How could Martin simultaneously
a. Bash Zimmerman's head a multiple number of time
b. Be smothering Zimmerman by holding his hands over Zimmerman's mouth an nose
c. Be grabbing for the gun

Martin would have had to be an octopus.

2. Zimmerman claims several times to be able to tell where Martin was looking or what Martin was looking at. It was extremely dark and raining. How could Zimmerman tell what Martin was looking at?

3. Zimmerman claimed that Martin hid behind a bush and jumped out to attack him. If you look at all of the pictures of the complex there are not any bushes tall enough to hide Martin.

4. Zimmerman claimed to be going to meet the police at the mail box area. Why did he then ask the non-emergency phone call to have the police call him? You only do that when you do not know where you will be when the police arrive.

5. He didn't know the name of the street that happens to not only be the main street of the complex but has the same name as the complex.

6. Zimmerman flat out lied in the Sean Hannity interview. When asked about the Stand Your Ground Law his answer was essentially that he didn't know much about it. This was a guy who was taking Criminal Justice Classes, wanted to be a cop, wanted to go on ride alongs, and had a friend schooling him on getting a gun. He knew what the Stand Your Ground Law was and what constitutes the grounds for claiming Stand Your Ground. He most likely knew what constituted the different criminal charges that could be brought up when there is a death so he would now how to frame his story to save his butt.

Zimmerman is going to say whatever he thinks that he needs to say to save his butt.
