5. Independence from what exactly?

Way back when a group of traitors or terrorists if you will, to the crown started a revolution mainly because of undue corporate influence over the crown and the perceived slights to the American Colonists who BTW had a LOWER tax burden then the other subjects living in the UK but I digress.

So over 200 years later we have even more corporate influence over our Government but we don’t have a king or queen we get to vote for a corporate backed and controlled candidate who does what the corporates want not the people.

So what has really changed since the revolution?

We still live under a government controlled by corporations.

I'm not sure what you'd get out of London either, other than a complete lack of control over your own future. Also you'll be the first to ask to be back. I'm sure so far no countries have.

Many, Many years ago I remember when business owners in Scotland would only accept RBS pound notes and openly refused BOE notes.

So when are the Scottish People going to make their stand? They been talking about it for centuries now.

Never heard of a issue with bank notes, however if I'm traveling outside Scotland. BOE notes are a must there is no change in value.

Scots like myself will always determine our future as best we see fit. That'll never change, we're not oppressed per se. Even if the colourful history can sometimes reflect it in the past.
