Israelis were recently victims of bombings. Israel blames Iran. Iran denies involvement. Now check out this article in the NYT written by Scott Shane and a bunch of "contributors":
"A string of aggressive gestures by Iran this week assassination attempts on Israelis living abroad that were attributed to Tehran, renewed posturing over its nuclear program and fresh threats of economic retaliation suggest that Iranian leaders are responding frantically, and with increasing unpredictability, to the tightening of sanctions by the West."
So there you have it. Iran denies involvement, Israel blames Iran, so therefore these bombings suggest that Iran is "responding frantically" to international sanctions. That's the New York Times for you, my friends: the most famous newspaper in America, which brought you the Iraq War, blaming Iran for something without having a clue as to whether or no the allegations are true.
Shane does not even tell you that evidence points to Iran. He says, "Evidence was accumulating that the bombing this week that injured four people in New Delhi, including an Israeli diplomats wife, and bombs discovered in Tbilisi, Georgia, and Bangkok were part of a single plot, for which Israel has blamed Iran. Iranian officials have denied any involvement."
Here you can see that what the evidence says, according to Shane, is merely that multiple bombings were part of a single plot.
"The Iranian actions came at a tense time," the article later says. Wait a minute. Was it an Iranian action or an allegation of an Iranian action by Israel? I'm confused.
Meanwhile on the India attacks, Al Jazeera reported that "India said it did not have enough evidence to reach a firm conclusion." But still! The NYT does have a firm conclusion. Bunch of MSM idiots.
And Im supposed to pay for the NYT online for this pile of dung?

NEW DELHI(BullionStreet) : Putting aside all speculations, India and Iran have reached oil payment deal without gold.
According to reports India will make 45 percent of the payment for its oil from Iran in local currency the rupee, which Tehran will use to pay for imports from Iindia.
Iran's oil sales to India have been fraught with payment problems in the past 13 months after a clearing mechanism was scrapped and Indian refiners have sought alternative supplies.
The deal was an achievement for India as sanctions against Iran are proving difficult to enforce because of it's reliance on Iranian crude.

(36,418 posts)The point of all the assassinations, sabotage and embargoes is to prod, pressure and provoke Iran into doing something aggressive, rash and stupid that can serve as a pretext for an open military attack. It's a sort of anti-diplomacy that's designed to spur retaliation and start a war.
Here's the key phrase, and it's telling:
Mr Shane and the editorial board of the NYT know what the game is, and are happily playing their role in it. Now, sharpen that stick and go poke that critter inside the cage again, boys. Such good boys!
