GOP Catch 22 For Women

TO ALL WOMEN FROM THE GOP. You are forbidden to use family planning measures. You cannot have sex outside of marriage and are restricted inside marriage and must get pregnant.

You make only 78 cents to the dollar versus men. The GOP is against fair pay. They want to end Medicaide, Social Security, Medicare, welfare and many other programs that help women the most. Then if you are expecting you can be discriminated against at work since they hate the law against such actions because it is antibusiness. Now you must submit to involuntary bodily invasion in
Virginia. They are trying end anti domestic violence laws and stop enforcement. They are determined to enable your abuser. Protect your rapist.

Any woman in her right mind would never consider voting for the GOP POS's.

That's what you get from the "coat hanger" party.

of Ricky's statement: "Birth control is a license to do things in the sexual realm that is counter to how things are suppose to be." Didn't she live with the doctor who delivered her and I'm sure did things within the "sexual realm?"

Humans are sexual beings and do things within the sexual realm all the time. What planet does Ricky live on? Did he only engage in sex seven times in order to procreate?

What your post says would not surprise me in this environment. If it has not happened in law I would bet that that is what will be next. Nothing could be more crazy or sickeningly unjust.

Imagine that someone like * raped you. One of two things: he isn't arrested or he is arrested and prosecuted.

If he isn't arrested, he's still your rapist and he can claim it was consensual and then sue for custody of the baby.

If he is arrested, one of two things: 1) he's acquitted or charges dismissed. (See prior paragraph.) 2) If convicted, his family comes after you and sues for custody. Money wins in court a lot of times.

In many states if you are the noncustodial parent of a child, you can be held responsible for partial or full child support.

I can see such an argument being made. There are a lot of nitwits out there that believe women are responsible for their condition no matter what. So the argument presented certainly is plausible. Remember Herman Cain "blame yourself".

if the woman isn't allowed to use birth control, are the men allowed to use condoms? Yea I know they're not suppose to have sex until marriage. But in the real world....

It must be awful being a young GOP person these days.

back in 1987.

Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists would be censored at the whim of government, and the doors of the federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens for whom the judiciary is often the only protector of the individual rights that are the heart of our democracy.


Thank god he stopped it then and we need to stop it now.

The world you describe is a GOP utopia, nirvana, ecstasy, etc. And they are doing all they can to MAKE IT SO. They are more dangerous to this country now than the terrorists. It you add up all the POS legislation they are offering and passing in the various states one should be alarmed. They are at war with the freedom they so clamor about.

I still believe that they have declared civil war against America itself. It is just that too many people do not realize what the core of the GOP is up to.

Wisconsin and Walker is the best example of what they want to do. Anecdotally Walker has said that if he survives his recall he will just end the public sector pension system and stop payment. The GOP gerrymandered the new district maps in secret. And it goes on and on.

Florida and Scott. See a pattern? They have at least two states. Look what is happening and you can see what their plan for the rest of the country is.

What the pattern shows is that we cannot tolerate the existence of the GOP we have today. They are so far off the deep end that the country will cease to exist. They are the enemy of the people really. Since Reagan the GOP and big business has completely made of mess of the economic system. The children have no future at all unless we overwhelmingly defeat these people.

Women are particularly at risk now since family planning WILL BECOME a criminal activity if the GOP ever got complete power again.

The "war on womens' rights" is being escalated daily across the country in many ways. What is going on is more than isolated it is a "blitzkrieg" of laws and initiatives being put out just about everywhere. Unless decide to get in the face of these legislators soon, they will lose all of their health care freedom.

What is going on is serious and needs to be taken to these evil people personally. Unless you effect them one on one they will hide in in their little holes. Women really cannot ignore this assault.

Women went to jail and were force fed when they went on hunger strikes just to the the right to vote. And suffrage only passed by one single vote.

I simply do not understand why these legislators are not being punished for their despicable behavior. If they are not cast back the "coat hangar party" will win.
