(11,304 posts)what they think about women. It's ok for them to screw around. It is a serious issue. He only makes me madder than hell. The president solved the issue yet the republicans keep pounding him on this issue. Don't they realize even republican women think they have gone to far?

(9,474 posts)The majority of voters are women. Hopefully, this idiot and his ilk will keep spewing this trash long enough for all the women in this country to wake up and realize we're in the middle of a war and take to the streets!
I live in Virginia. I love my state, but the legislature is about to legalize rape (mandatory trans-vaginal ultrasound). Those of us here who are not suffering from GOP induced psychosis are appalled and frightened. I'm hoping that if it passes, the DOJ will come down on the Governor like a ton of bricks.

(6,670 posts)I'd love to see a smart teenager simply ask, in public debate "We're going to fuck. It's what makes us good healthy humans, and while there's plenty of positions that allow us to fuck with an aspirin between our knees, it doesn't really make sense that restricting ourselves to those positions is going to do anyone any good. How exactly is this aspirin thing supposed to provide abortions to people whose condoms fail?"

(34,452 posts)1) are you advising married women to not have sex with their husbands?
2) why aren't you advising men to keep it in their pants?
Keep talking, sexist extremists--you're showing your true colors and giving the "undecideds" a good reason to decide to vote against you.

Well, I guess the guy could just take the aspirin.
But, yeah, I just don't get the whole "wimmin spreading their legs causes babies" thing.

But -- thanks to Freiss for reiterating just what they're all about. Between the (mostly) men only hearing about bc and this bit of wingnuttery, they're digging their own political graves.

(793 posts)For many reasons. It is an old joke that kids used to say on camping trips or behind the barn during the forties and probably before. This guy can afford a writer or at least an internet coach. I got to think though that sweater-vest Rick want's him to the utter fool that he is, so it looks like good old wankers are supporting him, not no wall street folks.
By the way is this jerk Santorum's super pac man, if he is, why is he spending so much time in front of the camera. I think someone is streching this garbage way out.

(57,936 posts)It's just about keeping women down.
Men are viewed as just sort of passive participants in sex. That's not the way it works. Not at all.
meow2u3
(24,764 posts)I see through the religious language. They all say it's because it's morally wrong, but they really want to control women.
I'd be OK with it if there were a single standard of continence, but no, those boys want to have their cake and eat it, too. They're not men; real men don't dominate women.

(21,925 posts)what must he say in private about blacks, gays, hispanics, an the poor? You just know this19th century mindset has a certain highly regressive consistency to it. We need more assholes like this speaking their true minds in public and not holding back, showing the public what the actual backers of the GOP are truly all about. I encourage his kind to keep it up and give Obama an easy victory next Fall.

(2,176 posts)these guys mean it, and they are dangerous. It is folly to laugh at this creep. Just ask women who lived in the world before contraception was available. When the pill became available my mother who was in her 50's advised me to take it and to make sure it would always be available. It is a bigger deal than people think.

(793 posts)You ever get the feeling that what rePUGs are doing is kind of like Nascar.
I mean Santorium has this guy who happens to agree with what Mr. sweater-vest has to say, but he has to put into the fold a silly joke to tell everyone how old the guy is. One thing I learned when young in racing was hopefully the man who controls your team will just supply de money and not be a jerk. This man is a jerk.
I am now watching the team sponsor doing an interview on the Last Word. I actually think that guy feels that somehow he will get the cup and his hatred of the Black Driver is pretty self-evident.
I mean look at the debates so far. it is much like whole Nascar Horse-shit.
