Foster Friess was president of his college's fraternity

Chi Phi at University of Wisconsin according to Wikipedia.

Of course the aspirin between the knees must have failed a number of times, and his fraternity brothers must have gotten a number of women pregnant. I wonder, what happened when a college gal got pregnant in 1962? Maybe Mr. Friess can share some stories from his glory days? Then again, maybe he didn't even know what happened to her, maybe she just disappeared. Those were the days, eh?

At the time I personally was against it (abortion) but voted FOR it because I didn't want anybody to die for my beliefs.

3. I sincerely doubt too many of them wound up doing the "gentlemanly thing" and married her.

A friend in high school had to go to JAPAN to get an abortion in 1969, but she had her parent's support and $$$. Lots of girls had to put their babies up for adoption because single motherhood wasn't accepted, either. One girl I went to high school with married her boyfriend and they're still married to this day. Went to a Catholic girls school and she stayed in school and was totally supported by her classmates and the nuns.

his wife was President of a soriety also, maybe their sister soriety. Timelines anyone

Wiki also said that this guy is a "born again" Christian. I think that tells more than they may realize. The born again Christians I know are almost to a person, very fundamentalist in their thinking.

8. The fraternity brothers would slap one another on the back congratulating one another.

Back in Friess' day, those rich-boy fraternity brothers would be congratulating one another if one of them got a girl pregnant. After all, the girl obviously "deserved" it or "wanted it" or she'd have had a bottle of bayer aspirin in her purse, right????!!!

Oh, the stupid...it just burns!

Back in THOSE days, the boys/men were never held accountable. It was the girl/woman's problem to deal with. And there was NO shame for the males. All of that went on the females, as well.

I cannot believe that any woman in her right mind could vote for some stupid idiot Republican who is just seething for the time to take us back to the dark ages.
