On edit: I was wondering if the workers there knew that Obama was likely their #1 salesman this year, with all the planes he sold for export?

It frames the opposition who will deny it as pessimists and cynics - lacking American spirit and confidence, and a threat to economic recovery.
It echoes 'morning in America'.
It has double meanings like 'America's spine' (infrastructure), and that the Dems and Obama are America's back (the party that keeps her government functioning).
'Yes we did' is useful too but it allows the opposition to paint the 'we' as partisan, and is a potentially more defensive and backward-looking posture; whereas 'America's Back' is non-partisan, audacious and aspirational while still referencing past accomplishments and promises.
