Yes, Trayvon did have jewelry at one time and they did investigate to see if it was stolen, the case was dropped because there was never any evidence that it was actually stolen. It is completely irrelevent to the case anyways, he did not have this jewelry at the scene of his murder.

Zimmerman was arrested for assaulting a police officer and domestic assault, but because the police department treated him with kid's gloves he was able to escape serious convictions.

that the State of Florida blew this case on purpose because if Z had been found guilty it would open a can of worms with regard to previous cases where repeal after repeal would be filed (mostly cases where a blackman/woman had been found guilty of a similar crime) and it would cost Florida a bundle. believe the comments I have heard people make about Martin, it makes me sick to try and talk to most people around here. It is common knowledge around here Martin was a 6'3" 200 lb thug. We are both black. He is the only chocolate face employed at this company. And I mean he is a deep dark chocolate. There are times when he delivers materials he must go to very isolated and rural areas of Michigan. He has had customers call the office and LIE about the service they have received. The problem, The owners have known my husband for over 30 years. He has known them so long that the daughter is now running the company and my husband is top seniority. The company grossed 30 million dollars. Nice Stimulus I would say. I politely told him that I submit emails to the President on a regular basis and have already thanked him for the Stimulus that helped my Husbands place of employment. And the company was Grateful and so was I. That they really appreciated the help. I did not LIE. I had wrote the email. Martin's backpack was searched during an incident at school. Inside was found several pieces of jewelry, including wedding rings and diamond earrings, as well as a screwdriver which was listed as a probable "burglary tool." The school official asked him whether the jewelry belonged to a family member or girlfriend. He told them it didn't, and he was just "holding" it for a friend. Take from that what you will.

Zimmerman was at one point charged with assaulting a police officer because he shoved an undercover, plainclothes alcohol officer who was arresting a friend of his for underage drinking. The charge was quickly lowered to a misdemeanor, presumably because he didn't realize he was pushing a cop, and he was then allowed to enter a pretrial diversion program, which ended with the charge being dropped entirely.

Z was never charged with domestic violence. He got into a fight with his girlfriend during a breakup, and they took out mutual restraining orders against each other. Neither one documented any injuries so far as I know.
