35 years ago, Dan White killed Harvey Milk. It was a hate crime. So is the death of Trayvon.

Dan White got acquitted for killing our mayor and our gay city concilman because the jury thought his junk food diet might've contributed to his actions (yes, Young People, I am serious!) But bottom line: He would never have shot Harvey if Harvey were not gay.

And Zimmerman would NEVER have followed Trayvon, stalked him, gotten out of the car and shot him dead if Trayvon had been a 17 year old white kid.

We all know it. This should have been tried as a hate crime.

Sadly, I agree. But look at the victims. nt kelliekat44 Jul 2013 #1
Things didn't really work out so well for Dan White in the end, though, did they? tularetom Jul 2013 #2

Sure, he got away with murder, but everything pretty much went downhill after that.

I doubt that Zimmerman's life from here on out will be anything any of us would want to experience.
