Not in the deliberation room, but in their hotel room?
They must have some sort of access to digital communications because otherwise why does the Judge have to question them each time they return whether they made any communications? (Twitter, Tweet, Facebook, etc)
What I'm getting at is: could juror B37 have had a phone conversation with her husband while she was in sequestration?

(7,720 posts)get to have their cell phones in their hotel rooms. The reason the judge is asking that question is because in the past, some people have broken the rule and smuggled a cell phone into their room.

Would you take someone's word that they didn't talk or read about the case on their phone? I sure as hell wouldn't.

(17,064 posts)It was done in a local civil trial in Tampa. There was strong evidence of misconduct on part of one team of attornies. Judge ordered them to bring phones to court to be examined.

(39,343 posts)It took a few days to seat the jury and months leading up to the trial for her and her husband and other friends to talk about what they think should happen.
In her interview she said that she knew "they" rioted in Sanford before Zimmerman was originally arrested....WHICH EVER HAPPENED.
I bet she had her mind made up and lied during Voir Dire (jury picking) so that she could get on the jury, find Zim not guilty, and ultimately get a book deal. I think she should be in jail if they could go back through her voir dire questionaire and find that she has lied.

Id be curious to see what was asked and how it was answered.
