Evening slot - that's a pretty drastic move. I wonder if it's because Thom is too diplomatic. He doesn't call anyone names or insult anyone. He doesn't create drama, only relays information and that in itself can be it's own outrage. Most radio hosts try to incite some kind of strong reaction by the way they talk and the words they choose. Thom really doesn't do that. I like him for that.

Maybe they needed someone more provocative. I don't know the guy they're putting in his time slot but maybe he fits that mold better.

That's too bad. I don't hardly ever listen to the radio at night.

Thom is so refreshing to listen to because he is so intelligent and he is so knowledgable that he rarely gets caught up when he discusses topics with those who do not agree with him.
I'm thinking about getting rid of Sirius all together. To hear Thom live they tell me I have to sign on to sirius plus to get it on my smart phone and home computer and of course that cost more. They still haven't explained why the change. Maybe because Thom is so popular that they think his listeners will pay the extra to listen from their phones to the live show.

don't know if it will do any good.
At least I can still listen on the computer at the regular time, 2PM central.
I listen to him on WCPT in Chicago http://www.chicagoprogressivetalk.com/
