... the normality that we are social beings, and intrinsically altruistic, then yes, we can create a world where this isn't even necessary. Until then, we are the change we want to see in the world. It starts one step at a time.

a greater refutation and rebuke of the selfish individualism of capitalism than this video.

No words or arguments necessary.

Just help someone without conditions.

You can't beat that.

"Better Days Are Coming" That was the exact phrase my Grandmother used in times of crisis to comfort the family.

You are yourself the world you want to have. Society is a reflection of ourselves. Our revolution will consist of our better humanity, or it will not happen at all.

I wish there was enough money to make such a difference in the lives of so many who have suffered at the hands of that group of selfish, wealthy uncaring percentage of the population. Of course with their lack of compassion (and not getting the drift of what these kind of tears really mean) they would no doubt think it cute that this man has been driven to tears. In their ignorant world they have no idea how many go to sleep each night with tears--tears of hunger, helplessness, pain so they also would have no idea what tear of joy would be when kindness is presented to one so much in need.
