So Governor Ultra-sound is finally being covered on Morning Joe Scum

Must be Mrs Vaginal probes shopping sprees that finally forced their hands.
Maybe it's shame since people have been wondering why they only have time for the sex scandals. Or maybe it's because Joe Scum is not on today.

<snip>
Virginia first lady Maureen McDonnell bought nearly $9,800 in clothing with money from her husband’s political action committee and tapped into his campaign and inaugural funds to buy $7,600 in mostly unspecified items, according to records and a representative for the PAC.

The spending is legal under Virginia’s lax campaign finance laws, which prohibit the conversion of political funds for private use only when a PAC or campaign committee disbands — not while it is operating.

Gov. McDonnell has received over $300,000 in gifts since 2002.
McDonnell’s purchases were legal under state campaign finance laws, but amount of spending is unusual.

But the purchases are unusual in Virginia, where campaign finance records indicate that candidates do not routinely dip into political funds to buy personal items such as clothing for themselves or their spouses.

Maureen McDonnell’s use of political donations comes to light at a time when she and her husband, Gov. Robert F. McDonnell (R), are under intense scrutiny for accepting luxury items and $120,000 in loans from wealthy Virginia businessman Jonnie R. Williams Sr. Federal and state investigators are probing the Star Scientific executive’s ties to the McDonnells, who promoted his firm’s nutritional supplement, Anatabloc. Last week the governor apologized for embarrassing the commonwealth and repaid the loans.

Yep...the corporate media's been obsessed with Carlos Danger...it's just too juvenile for them not to obsess on. GuvUltrasound has been lucky that their scatterbrain interest has been elsewhere...Zimmerman, Royal Baby, Weiner's weiner...and paid little attention to what is turning out to be one of the biggest bribery scandals of recent memory. No doubt part of the reason is Goldbrickin' Bob was a media star...he knew how to play the "game" and play goons like Joey and his hyenas. The corporate media had high hopes...the dude "looked" the part...and he pulled himself down before they could get the chance to...

I get the feeling that Joe being off today allowed Mika more latitude in subject matter.

Joe has been so abusive of his guests lately it's a wonder anybody wants to be on his show any more. He is more of a loudmouthed jerk than ever before. I hope he is gone to his Nantucket home for a long vacation and people get used to and like the absence of the abusive Joe...

Too bad they don't announce when Joe is going to be on vacation in advance. I'd be interested to see if the shows ratings go up if people know ahead of time that the blowhard won't be monopolizing the air time.

Just once, I'd like to see someone not allow Joe to talk over them. I'd like to see a guest just keep on talking but more loudly and not back down and become silent like so many of his guests do. I'd like to see that happen!
