Authorities raid Detroit senior housing complexes for suspected drug dealers

http://www.freep.com/article/20130729/NEWS01/307290051/senior-housing-drug-bust-detroit

More than 50 people are expected to be arrested today in a police sweep of accused drug dealers peddling inside Detroit senior citizens centers.

As senior citizens looked out from their balconies at Orchestra Towers near the Wayne State University campus this morning, officers from the college and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives led suspects in handcuffs from the 11-story apartment building on Woodward Avenue.

“I’m glad it’s happening,” said resident Lamar Keith, 64, who’s lived in Orchestra Place since he turned 55. “It’s good riddance. There’s a lot of old people in here that can’t protect themselves. But there’s a lot of old people in here that’s doing the stuff. And them’s the ones they took out of here. There’s going to be a lot of empty apartments. They’ll be filled up with, hopefully, better people.”

Then the complaining blue nose prohibitionists need to close their door and STFU.

It isn't their business what other people do in the privacy of their own home, or in the common areas.

But they are getting on camera and "Boo hoo! It's not safe!"

Simple answer: Don't start no stuff won't be no stuff! Snitches get stitches. So mind your damn business and if you don't like it, move!

(So did I pass the test to be a Libertarian yet?)
