P.S. The next time some whackadoodle racists come out of the woodwork because someone not "sufficiently American" sings "God Bless America" at a sporting event (think Marc Anthony, the American-born singer, and the recent racist freak-out over his rendition at a ballgame), take a moment and remind them that "God Bless America" was written by a Russian/Jewish immigrant named Israel Isidore Berlin, changed to "Irving"...and that he was attacked for writing it at the time of its release, i.e., "Who is this Jew to command our Christian God?"
