The Republican Strategy for 2014.

As we have read, Republicans are threatening to shut down the government in the next debt limit debate. But it's not about the debt limit. They want the President to agree to repeal "Obamacare" or they will shut down the government. That's the way they roll.

They want "Obamacare" to be the issue in the next election. They had great luck in 2010 by badmouthing the ACA (Obamacare). They believe they can repeat 2010. That is why Obamacare is at the center of all their discussions.

Of course, they know the President will not agree to destroy the program of his legacy. But that doesn't matter to them. They want their followers to get all fired up again like they did in 2010, then they might take the Senate to go with the House and then get the White House in 2016. That is their strategy.

Needless to say, they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer but they are deceptive and dishonest and that will take them a long way with the 30% that have an IQ problem...

Putting required dates off, not giving more people a chance to start experiencing the wonderfulness of it, just makes it easier for the GOP to campaign against it
