Pro-lifers, the Bible, and the magic of cognitive dissonance.

The anti-choice people are all about protecting the children, so they say, and thump their holy book to mimic the thunder of their righteous God...but doesn't the book they thump in defense of children tell the story of all the firstborn of Egypt slaughtered by a vengeful angel sent by God, and does that book not cloak the slaughter in the garb of a holy, righteous act?

Cognitive dissonance is dissonant.
