Since you've sat back and let the "superior class" take over this country

You will now have to fight and possibly die in the process to gain back your value as a human being. The rich are not going to let you and they own the police powers not to mention access to your personal information and internet sites.
Most of you are too young to remember or were never taught that many in the fight for unioization were murdered to silence them. You think the monied are going to play nice (I have a Brooklyn bridge you can buy cheap). I'll bet you were never taught about the sacrifices many made (and sometimes their lives) to have a 40 hour work week and no child labor. I remember in those early days at one plant families camped on the grounds (early 1900's to protest their inadequate pay and the owners (capitalist) were able to have the PEOPLES police fire upon those camping families and actually kill some...when in the hell are you going to wake up?
Get the money OUT of elections
Make known who in your community is a registered Republican and refuse to do business with them and any one who does do business with them. The pocket book is the only way to get their attention. This is what unions used to do and that is why the well heeled do not want unions.
Take the major money managers and corporations find out who owns and participates in the greedy, godless systems and refuse to do business with them. Cutting working hours down to less than 30 hrs a week is a deliberate ploy by the monied to scare the hell out of you so you will buckle under. STOP letting elections being won by money, have a public system with no personal money allowed to be used in elections...that will start the ball rolling in the right direction.
Make the word Republican a nasty word and keep the pressure on, maybe you won't have to be a slave to the monied, but think you are helpless is what they want you to think. Hit them in the pocket book, let them know THEY ARE THE PROBLEM, NOT THE COMMON MAN. The monied have you gaslighted, stop believing them

Most of us have been trying to educate our blockheaded peers about what was going on for decades.

They just didn't start to get it until they looked around and realized everything we warned about had happened to them, personally.

yeah, we all just sat back. right.

How the holy fuck do you suggest that we get money out of elections?

If you think people here trust corporations or the 1%, you don't pay attention.

we need to find ways and act as a group. To just give up will not solve the problem. WE must work as a whole. There are more of us than them and that scares the hell out of them. That should tell you something. The common man should have stopped what is going on a long time ago. Our "superiors" have played on our human nature of being self-absorbed and we did not pay attention when others were hurting because it didn't happen to us. Divide and conquer, remember?
At this moment I don't know how we can get money out of elections, I've not been educated or experienced that world, like many in this country (dumbed down) or working so intensley there is no time for reflection. We are the 99% and quite capable but it would be one hella'va fight.

an individual has almost no chance against money and power, but a massive group has that power, hence unions
and it was tough, at times neighbor against neighbor. The monied having us fight with each other, divide and conquer, works very well until we start thinking about something else besides just our world.

in acquiring decent working conditions. Do you just want to sit back and take what ever inhumane thing the well to do hand out?
If you think there is no possibility that it would get that bad you are in denial. History constantly repeats itself.

it has to go.

You're right that unions put pressure on this system for awhile (my dad belonged to one and I am old enough to remember painting strike signs in the early 70s) ... but that is long gone and the inequality between rich & poor is much wider now than it was then. I really don't think there is any taming capitalism.

because Americans are far too complacent and hooked into their religions. These folks are being led into oligarchy (fascism) very easily. They're not even going to put up a fight. But still I try ...

You think it's only Republicans. This is so damn cute...

What? You thnk only Republican Pols do that? I take your Brooklin Bridge and raise you the Golden Gate. The NSA scandal has exposed this as quite bipartisan thank you very much.

Both parties managed an amazing trick...we'll take care of you, don't worry your pretty faces with these matters, ignore us between elections. We'll work in the shadows. Yup, one is a tad less offensive, but not by much, and both work for the same moneyed interests.

But I will have to give it to you...this is cute.
