Rules for forecasting the weather as climate change ramps up:

Remember, the next week or day may suddenly be
A-winter
B-summer
C-spring
D-fall
Or
1-insanely hot or unbearably cold.

It is always
A-tornado season
B-hurricane season
C-flood season
D-any other recognizable condition

Basically, there are no rules. Right now and for the foreseeble future, all patterns are obsolete. It may be a loooooong time before the climate settles down.

It is always changing. Always has been. Always will. The Earth spins and wobbles. Round and round it goes. As it does the climate changes. When the weatherman can get next week right I will maybe listen to his 30 year forecast.

Yes it always changes.
However, for a while, there have been decent forecasting models especially on the macro level. None of them were perfect, but they had some validity.
The changes now are so fast and large that much of it is not useful. In the life of Earth, this is probably not new. In the life of man and forecasting, it is different.

When they say 2 ft. it is 6. When they say 6 it is 2. They say West wind it is North. Awful.
