Ask this: should there be no more talk about contraception in the debates?

Don't waste time asking specific questions about contraception. First determine where they stand on the question of whether or not it's appropriate for it to be a topic of discussion in the debates. If they prefer that there be no discussion of it, then they will say so, won't they?

resources particularly since the candidates don't want to discuss what's important to the majority of the electorate, and instead prefer the distraction of the wedge issues.

Obviously they're not going to say that they don't want to debate.

My question wasn't about whether or not there should actually be questions about contraception. My question is directed to the people who are seeking the Republican nomination. Do they think that there should be no more questions about contraception? That's my question. It's either the end of the topic of contraception or the beginning of a meta-discussion about what topics are inconvenient and why.
