Humans have always used drugs, but current level of drug abuse could indicate a bigger problem that were driving people into addiction. Whats the connection between the increase in chronic diseases, mental illness and drug addiction in our society today? They are SO enlightening about our addictions...I didn't hear
capitalism mentioned until about three quarters through the
2nd video...alluded to but not mentioned as such.

(392 posts)5. There was a bay area psychiatrist who ran for president a few years back
he didnt get very far, but his premise was this:
in his practice, he was seeing all kinds of ills, that he felt were actually a normal reaction to living in society (trend of relentless increase in pressures) as it exists, and that anything he did in his practice, was really just treating the symptiom
it was an interesting arguement
