The failure of our electeds to act on gun reform is a direct result of our broken campaign finance system. They are cowering in the face of very effective extortion.
If we want our Congress to work for the people and not just the 1%, we have to fix campaign finance. It's life or death.
Common Cause is doing this work. Who else is?

or we can put our collective shoulders to the wheel and help Common Cause with
campaign finance reform change.
It will be incremental but it must be done. Campaign finance cuts across every issue we hold dear that the wingers hold hostage in state and federal offices from one coast to the other, and to our islands.
