UPDATE on my wife and I and the apartment situation.

My wife and I moved out of the apartment and into a nice place. This evening my wife went to the hospital because her breathing was getting worse and she had issues -- having to do a breathing treatment in the middle of the process.

My wife went in explained the situation to the ER how when she was in the old apartment she had breathing problems felt terrible etc. BUT when she went to work she had no problems.

Doctor asked if we knew what Sick Building syndrome was and said that everything my wife described was what SBS was.

So long story short some of you may think my wife and I are heels for breaking the lease and leaving BUT My wife health is more important than the $1800 (I think) we will be asked to pay.

We are in a great building. ( I would send pictures if I knew how to upload them.) The new landlord we have is known as one of the best in the city and I think my wife will recover a little more quickly.

I want to thank you all for your thoughts concern and help.

SHOUT OUT TO SEDONA!!!!

Also, try talking to the hospital billing department and they might be able to adjust the costs to something more manageable for your income.

and they will help her with the cost of meds. The moved gave us a little tight but with some help we will get my wife the meds and on the mend.

and you just can't put a price on being able to feel alive instead of so ill day in, day out, non-stop.

...and I for one do not think you are heels. On the contrary, it sounded like your previous landlord was a heel.

Congratulations on your move, and here's hoping your wife recovers quickly and fully!
