Cruz is thinking: "Sh*t. . . . Obamacare goes into effect in 14 hours and will probably be one of the most popular government programs in America's history, and it was passed without a single Republican vote because we refused to have any impact on the bill, start to finish. . . Then we dubbed it 'Obamacare' cause we thought that would kill it on the vine, but now it'll go down in the books like that and make Republicans look terrible. . . . Then the government is set to shut down at the same time, and who will the American people blame for that? . . . Why the Republicans. . . . It's a terrible double whammy and will probably keep us out of power for twenty years. . . . What I want to know is, just who is responsible for all this mess? "
