Do I have this right? This kerfuffle has nothing to do with the debt ceiling?

This is just the run of the mill we haven't passed a budget yet continuing resolution to keep the lights on and shit running.

Do I have that right? The debt ceiling fight will be later?

I get tired of explaining to Republicans that the debt ceiling is to pay money we already owe not to increase the debt. Those idits want us to default on our loans... The party of "Personal Responsibility"

some corners are saying it would be better to let the repubs shut down govt now(save face) so they raise the debt ceiling later,there will be pain with the shut down but not raising the debt ceiling,leading to default CAN NOT happen

in two weeks the terrorists will shut down the government again. Only this time they will try and take the world financial system down with it. Thanks to the Teabaggers Osama bin Laden will get what he wanted. Too bad he's not around to enjoy it and thank them for their help.

"Debt ceiling" is a Word of Power, like "nine-eleven," "welfare," "Benghazi," etc.

It has no meaning of itself. These phrases are all code for, "Pay up, rube."
