If Boehner & Co thought that Obamacare would be a disaster, they would be eager to bring it on.

They would want this horrible law to start right now with no delays, so that when it becomes the unmitigated disaster they are predicting, they will reap the benefits in the elections of 2014.

But of course in actuality they are shitting their pants because they know that when the ACA takes effect and people see what its benefits are, as opposed to it being a scary government takeover with death panels, people will actually like it.

"Bring back medical underwriting!" "Let insurance companies turn applicants down!" are going to be less than compelling slogans next year for those wanting to overturn the ACA.

and they will look like fools for having opposed it. Which is why they are digging in their heals now. I have dug themselves into a very deep hole and which is why we should all be worried what they might do next. They are liked a corned wild animal.
