(20,776 posts)I remember posting tons of photos after the event on the old DU2. It was amazing to me to see the Japanese people bounce back day by day.. despite the death tolls, the suicides, and the devastation. It was heart breaking and heart warming. I am so glad things have gotten a little better, however... as for areas in the Tohoku Region that are still radioactive... I still fear for those who remain living on its edge, and realize it will be a long, long time before anyone can return home again.
