A family member's Marine fiance didn't get his discharge payout.

He was told that this was due to the shutdown. He will have to wait to receive it before he can come home.

Don't let the anyone get away with saying that the shutdown isn't hurting soldiers. That's a lie.

Say it with me: The Republican shutdown is affecting Americans who agreed to stop bullets for us. It's an epic and shameful breach of promise.

for survival while going to school..an error in his payments has to wait until the shut down is over to be corrected. Me and his mother are helping him...if he didn't have anyone to help him he'd be hanging out there now..

Yesterday, libertarian nutcase John Stossel declared "good riddance" to government employees furloughed by the shutdown. He said maybe this will be a teaching moment for America. Maybe we will wake up and realize that we don't need the government interfering in our lives.

Hey, Stossel, all of the men and women who ever agreed to place themselves in harm's way so that you can enjoy the freedom of running your mouth might appreciate a word with you, right about now.

If their courage has no value to you, get the hell out, you weasel.
