I'm facing off today at 4pm on Your World with Neil Cavuto vs Eric Bolling and Cheri Jacobus

the topic is whether President Obama negotiates. Cheri believes he never negotiates with Republicans and never will.

I, of course, have a different opinion.

The only modification I have ever made to that rule is when the Russian government passed the recent anti-gay law and I decided that since RT is a media organization completely dependent on the Russian state for operating expenses and seems to parrot the Russian government line, I cannot appear there any longer.

That is the only change to my standard rule and I hope it is a temporary one as I hope the Russian government repeals that law.

Is that bothering you for some reason?

You have the truth, a truth that the American public solidly backs up. The Party of NO, going back to Mitch McConnell saying his greatest goal was to make Obama a One Term President says it all.

Fuck their opinion. Negotiate! That's all this President has done since he took office, look where that's gotten him- both cheeks are scarlet now. It's time for reThugs to accept this President and start acting in good faith. period.

I will say that among conservatives, there is a determination to try to play this as if they aren't getting their clocks cleaned. They all (when I say all I mean all conservative pundits and elected officials) know they are getting whipped out there over this, but they are trying to gin up their base as if that isn't the case.

It reminds me of the propaganda that Germany and Japan shelled out within their own countries toward the end of WWII trying to keep their military fighting and their civilian populations behind the effort. They use the outlier stat that President Obama is supposedly at a 37% approval level. He is not. I checked the pollingreport.com website yesterday. His support is steady. And there are various other points they used.

I got a couple of good points in, but my perception is that it was not my best performance.
