Waving a Confederate flag outside the White House

Cruz, Lee, Palin join memorial protest

~snip~

Cruz told the crowd that President Obama is using military veterans as “pawns” to draw support for his argument in the budget impasse, which has resulted in the two-week closure of the federal government and the memorial.

~snip~

Palin similarly placed blame for the closure of the World War II Memorial on President Obama.

“Our veterans have allowed us to be here today standing up for our First Amendment rights so that we can express their optimism,” she said. “(Obama) could be here today standing up and saying, ‘Yes, we can tear down these barricades.'”

The presence of a Confederate flag at the protest, which later moved to the White House, sparked an uproar on Twitter.

I know, I'm always bringing race into everything, but I didn't bring the Confederate flag to the White House:

Jeffrey Goldberg ✔ @JeffreyGoldberg

In many parts of America, waving a Confederate flag outside the home of a black family would be considered a very hostile act.

My niece thinks that the tea party is only about fiscal responsibility and responsible reduction of government spending. Yeah, I find it hard to believe any woman with a three digit IQ would think that, too.

seems to be what Palin did. Different flags at Veteran Memorials rally is part of the Independent Party Plan; just like the speaker says near the end of the video. I think Palin hates this country as much as she hates the Repulbican Party.

How about a little respect for the veterans of the Grand Army of the Republic who, I seem to recall, defeated what that flag stood for.

My great-great grandfather, Sgt. H. B. Cutting, of the 2nd Minnesota, Company A, would not be amused by this.

No one smiled back then because their teeth were horrible. IIRC, it was a requirement to be accepted for enlistment that the man must have 2 front teeth, one upper and one lower so they could tear the paper on the cartridge to pour it down the muzzle.

I have no proof other than my conviction, lol.

There is no reason to over analyze this.

Anyone who brings a Confederate flag to the White House of the first black president has lost. It's over.

The flying of the flag show a lack of power on their part.
