(10,749 posts)Even when I encounter good customer service, they go straight from the script, and if you throw some curveballs in, the conversation follows accordingly.

(9,314 posts)So much better than the obsequiousness I get from some customer service people. I had one chat yesterday with a Dell customer service rep who thanked me at least 4 times for my patience....twice in 20 seconds. By that time I was out of friggin' patience. I don't need to have my ass kissed.....polite, humorous, and quickly helpful work for me.
