It started when they got an unexpectedly strong start last spring and became a good luck charm. By now, most of them have some sort of beard -- and the ones who started off with goatees have become massively bushy.

... but then the lady leaned down and asked his darling little boy if he was proud of his daddy, his pint-sized son answered very distinctly and emphatically "Great!" and smiled from ear to ear. Then she asked him another question (I can't remember what she asked, sorry), and again, he took the mic and said "Good!" Yes, only one word answers, but the smile said it all as he stood there in his little Boston Red Sox team jacket and Boston cap. And he understood the questions, unlike his father who had to have an interpreter. The little tyke spoke perfect English!

Two things:

One, I look forward to seeing us knock out the Red Sox next year. We almost did it this year.
Two: Hey, anytime the New York Yankees are not in the world Series is a GOOD world Series! Between Tampa Bay and Boston, we will keep ensuring the Yankees stay out!

Congrats to you Red Sox.
