report: snowden gets tech support job in russia

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/E/EU_RUSSIA_SNOWDEN?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2013-10-31-07-11-09

MOSCOW (AP) -- Anatoly Kucherena, a lawyer for former NSA systems analyst Edward Snowden, says his client has found a technical support job at a Russian website.

Kucherena told the RIA Novosti news agency Thursday that Snowden starts his new job on Friday. Kucherena declined to name the company that has hired Snowden but says it's a major Russian website.

Snowden was granted asylum in Russia in August after being stuck at a Moscow airport for more than a month after flying there from Hong Kong. His whereabouts in Russia remain secret.

The 30-year-old faces espionage charges in the U.S for uncovering a mass surveillance scheme at the National Security Agency.

Who has done a great service and perhaps some harm as well. So I have no problem making fun of him. He is no hero. And what you call a mea culpa was a reassessment of what he did and like a said in that post the reasessment in lage part depends on him telling the truth about not taking the data to russia and china. I also said I still think he crossed a line with the interview in China. There was no mea culpa only a changed perspective on the importance of stopping NSA abuses and and Snowdens motives and actions.

Have a nice day.

Very flawed people can perform great services and they can even do them with impure motives. The world is a much more complicated plqce than you give it credit for. Sorry if it dissapoints you thag my reassesment of the man doesnt rise to hero worship or even admiration.
