African American woman killed when looking for help after accident

I didn't see that anyone has posted this yet. This is just two months after a pretty similar situation in the same town.


Renisha McBride, a 19-year-old Detroit woman, was shot in the head with a shotgun by a resident of a home in the 16000 block of Outer Drive near Warren Avenue early Saturday morning after she is believed to have sought help at the home.

The family of McBride said she went for help after a car accident around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Her cellphone battery had died, her family said.

McBride’s maternal aunt, Bernita Spinks, said the shooting was not justified even if the resident believed her niece was an intruder looking to break into the home.

“He shot her in the head ... for what? For knocking on his door,” said Spinks on Tuesday. “If he felt scared or threatened, he should have called 911.”

It is a not so known fact, Some White People get Angry and Scarred of Black people for no damn Reason

I have neighbors who live across the hall from me. The Day they moved in they didn't hide how upset they were to discover they had a Black living across from them.

18 months after moving in they started a letter writing and harrassment campaign against Me and my family to the condo association From October to March, by the time we finally got fed up it was April 3rd. I knocked on their door and yelled "Leave us alone."

the wife responses, "You, better back off or I am calling the police" I replied, "You're the one harrassing us, This is what you wanted!"

Mind you our "Crimes" where having children who laugh during the day, we moved our 60 inch tv to the basement. they didn't like the way our door closed and insisted we get new hinges, we have the same hinges as everyone else in the building.
the final straw they wanted me to move my Alarm to another room. because when they were AWAKE and getting ready for work They could hear it.

But the weird thing was how they would treat me, from day one it was just pure anger, but they don't treat my White Husband that way. they don't get upset with the other White Girls in the building who slam their doors at all hours of the night. Oh and they got angry if they hear my boys in the hallway, as we make the 10 steps from the main door to our door. but the other people in our building and have super loud conversations at all hours of the night. But if they hear my 8 year old talking about airplanes at 3pm their life is ruined.

And they have a 3 year old that is constantly screaming and crying as children do. When we told them we can hear your daughter at 3am he said "NO you can't if you could you would have complained about it"

I think they are Republican uggggghhhh

Anyway, being black pisses off and scares some white people

April 3rd when she threatened to call the police
I DID call the Police.

Of course the police came out and said nothing criminal was happening but the police got All of Us to agree to not come to each other Directly and to take all complaints to the Condo Association.

Well My DH I have sent a grand total of one letter to the Condo Association in March 23rd, Detailing the Harrassment and asking for help in getting them off our backs. They have sent by my count a grand total of 10 frivilous letters. It became pretty clear to the Condo Association that a problem exist but it was not our Problem

June 19th They sent each of us a letter stating that My Husband and I have not Violated any condo rules.
they did offer to pay for mediation between us and them. We declinded because from April 3rd to June 19th they had left us alone which is all we wanted. We didn't need to sit in a room and listen to them arrogantly bitch and moan.

SO as far as I am concerned we won they lost end of story.

I did resist the urge to do mean things like once I found a dead chipmonk in my yard. I was tempted to throw it on their back patio. But I was good, but If a squirrel turns up dead I am slinging that bad boy over their fence.

Unfortunately has consequences such as this. Everybody is so paranoid that a stranger knocking on the door must be there to rob and/or kill you except it turns into shoot first and ask questions later. And part of that message of fear is to go buy a gun to defend yourself. More guns equal more shootings -- it's the math of probability analysis. And intentionally flaming emotions with a non-stop message of fear just assures that there will be more shootings by falsely scared people.
