FL Republicans launch fake Democratic website. So childish. Not funny.

They think they are so clever.

Florida Republicans Launch Fake Web Site Mocking State Democrats

Something is amiss online: The 'Contribute' link at FloridaDems.com directs visitors to the Republican Party of Florida's fundraising page -- and for good reason. The state GOP bought the domain to launch a web site mocking Charlie Crist et al.

The RPOF announced the mock web site via press release just days before the Florida Democratic Party convention this weekend.

The fact that the domain name -- which is very close to the party's actual web site at FloridaDems.org -- was even available for purchase is proof of the party's "incompetence," "dysfunction," and "disarray," according to RPOF Chairman Lenny

The official-looking FloridaDems.com will no doubt trick visitors on first glance. But the site's satirical content will soon tip them off.

"We proudly support statewide candidates without vetting them first," reads the home page. "We proudly accept any candidate of any party, even with a failed economic record, to run for statewide office."

This is all they have left. Yet they hold all the power in Florida for now. They have no meaningful ideas to contribute....so they have to rely on fake stuff to get attention.

In our recent mayoral contest, the GOP incumbent was fond of making much of our candidate's youth(37) and "inexperience" (she has plenty of experience in municipal governance); yet, every time she posted something new on her website it would show up within hours on his website with the wording only slightly revised. At one point, I rewrote one sentence and replaced the word "rich" with "vibrant"; sure enough, later that evening the same word magically appeared on his website. By the end of the campaign, even his layout mirrored hers.

Again, this is a deep red town in a bluish state. The good-old-white-boys network holds all the power seats in city and county. Skanks.

here in sunny St. Petersburg our Democratic nominee became the MAYOR along with three council members, one incumbent and two newbies. For a non partisan race, the blues turned out fine.

Now to hold them to forward thinking ideas for the city.

An idiot at the NRO has launched something called electwendydavis.com http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2013/09/nro-reporter-launches-antiwendy-davis-site-173711.html and another group has launched the Real Wendy Davis website http://realwendydavis.wordpress.com/

The fact that the conservatives are spending so much effort this early on Senator Davis tells me that they are worried.
