Wow just wow the utter horror story that was Palin

The McCain campaign's utter irresponsibility in having picked Palin is nothing short of astonishing. I briefly thought of voting for Perot in 1992 after Clinton picked Gore. But then after the VP debate I was sorry I had even thought of it after the Stockdale debacle. This makes the Stockdale pick look like total genius. Her ignorance literally knew no bounds. Her arrogance also wound up knowing no bounds. One 72 year old, cancer survivor's heartbeat away from the Presidency that campaign was willing to put an arrogant, ignoramous. It was about the most cynical pick imaginable.

America first, my ass. Just imagine if she had become President. The leader of the free world. Holder of the codes of our nuclear weapons. It is unthinkable. McCain should have to answer for this.

Seriously, though, he wanted Lieberman first. Then he chose Palin.

This is why he was never qualified to be president in the first place.

because she is so stupid, witness how she is now the go to person for an interview, her opinion is supposedly "valued". She eats it up to the point she thinks she's a savior. But the people that made her, literally made her, would control everything about a Palin WH should McCain have won, died and she's now president. She would be a hugely bigger puppet than Junior ever was. The she would be manipulated beyond imagination. All to the benefit of those who made her.

I can't imagine how anyone has taken him seriously since. He's been critical of Obama over these first few years, and every time it happens the press should hammer home how thoroughly poor his judgment has been proven to be.

Palin had to be vetted over a matter of days instead of weeks like the other contenders. It was such a rush job that none of the people assigned to the task asked her a policy question. Everybody thought somebody else had covered those bases. When the McCain team realized what a train wreck it was going to be to put an ignoramus like Palin against the national media and Joe "O'Biden" it was all about damage control. Holy cow! Right before the VP debate, the campaign thought Palin was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

I dont believe they thought McCain was their best candidate. I think they wanted to let the Democrats have a shot at it, they would obstruct to the max and then the country would welcome them back.

And if they would have won, and McCain died, someone would have run the country for her. They wouldnt let her run the country any more than Reagan or Bush II.
