(30,947 posts)2. I lived in South Florida most of my life until I moved here to North Georgia.
But when I lived in Miami, the lowest temps I ever experienced were in the 40s. Well, in the late '80s, I traveled to Scotland, and one night while my friend and I were out searching for a restaurant, the temperature dropped to minus-9. I was never so cold in my life.
Having experienced winters here in North Georgia, I am now used to cold weather, and occasionally it drops to the single digits.
