so, we all know how the morans are whining about how everyone is 'shoving their agenda down our throats" (most recently, the utah same-sex marriage scene, and the freudian response). My own response to any who use that phrase about people whose views are contrary to their narrow, bigoted, ignorant worldview: "oh, you mean the way the reichwing fundies are shoving their agenda up women's vaginas?"

Niyad, it's not so much of the ignorance that gets you, it's the audacity of certain people on this earth to try to control other people. You could call them "control freaks".

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) has thrown his support behind an anti-abortion measure thats currently moving through the state legislature, saying he will sign the bill into law if it makes it to his desk. SB 206 would require women to undergo an ultrasound before getting an abortion which would mandate an invasive transvaginal probe for some of the women who seek early abortions in their first trimester and force one of the states last abortion clinics to close its doors.

Scott Walker has raised more campaign cash than any candidate in Wisconsin history, with more than $31 million raised since he took office in January 2011. Walker's war chest, which grew by a whopping $5.9 million in the past five weeks, dwarfs that of his Democratic opponent, former Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who's fundraising total of $4.2 million in comparison had Wisconsin Democrats scolding their party's national leadership.

Walker received and outspent his democrat opponent by a hell of a lot.
As far as I know, Walker is under federal investigation, and hopefully and indictment will be coming soon, at least before the next election. With an indictment, it would muddy his chances of being reelected.

I have high hopes he'll get a torpedo into his election bid, soon.
