West Michigan Weather Fun fact Date in History: January 27, 1977

That's tha last time Grand Valley State Uviversity closed for more than one day due to weather. I was a student then, but work there now. I just got the robocall about tomorrow. WOO HOO! Lake Effect snow & wind is so strong I can. barely see across the street. It is brutal. The temps have fallen 26F in 6 hours & wind chill is -20F. Everybody stay warm!

Weird. I remember watching Bill Steffan on WZZM, but now he's defected to WOODTV and became Chief Meteorologist after Craig James retired. Good times.
